Inspire 2024 Supplier Spotlight: Kinder’s 

Innovating fast with Walmart Luminate to fill an assortment gap and enhance the customer experience

This case study was shared live at theWalmart Data Ventures Inspire Event, October 1, 2024 in Rogers, Arkansas

Kinder’s launched their presence at Walmart in 2019 with four products across 1,000 stores. They have since grown their brand to include 104 products across five categories with nationwide availability. Diving into Walmart Luminate insights is a key tool to help them innovate and evolve their products to continuously drive success.

It was during one of these deep dives that they noticed a disconnect between how Walmart shoppers were using products in the Coatings & Batters category and the assortment. Working with their Walmart Merchant, they developed a hypothesis that could potentially meet the customer’s needs and stimulate growth in this segment of the category.
